Everybody do the Polar Bear…

Polar_bear_position This is the Polar Bear. ( Face down, ass in the air) If the baby isn’t in the right position, you have to do the polar bear, for fourty five minutes, without moving. I dare you to try it for five minutes. This position slides the baby back up into your ribs, so she has room to twist and turn and get going the right way. Friday (one week) we have the last ultra sound, and we’ll see which way she’s going. The other day the doctor told me she was big. I think I’m going for the world record. Well, maybe not the world record, cause that’s 24 pounds, but maybe 10 pounds or so. We think that because she’s big, she’ll just be born early. I’m placing my bet on Sept 22nd, and Marc’s voting for Sept 17th. She’s due October 1st. Place your bets!

When it rains it pours…

I had my baby shower yesterday, and 28 hours later, I think I have finally recovered. It was a really nice shower, it was just what I wanted. It was great to see so many people, and everybody seemed to have fun. The food was good, and I got tons and tons of gifts. So many gifts, that it filled up the two cars. But there lies the problem, for as you might know, my apartment is TINY! Our very nice neighbor helped Marc carry the crib up the stairs, and we got everything in the house, and then we panicked. All last night and today we tried to find a spot for everything. I just got the last thing put away, but it’s a little tight in here. It’s like cramming all your stuff into a dorm in a forced triple, but the third roomate has a lot of pink things. Too_much_1This is the current view from the foot of my bed. I think I’m gonna have to reorganize some things. Wish me luck.
